The first Green Peridot Salon opened in Tallahassee, Florida in the summer of 2002. Over the last four years Green Peridot has grown tremendously. Co-founder, Daniel Lewis, and his partner, Kimberleigh Routen, opened the Frisco, Texas location with a full staff in the fall of 2006. Green Peridot hopes to continue its pattern of growth over the coming years.
Green Peridot Salon strives to provide a guest experience full of energy and fulfillment for the mind, the body, and the spirit.

KatieKatie Page trained at Aveda Master’s Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida and has been doing hair since 2005. Katie, a premium senior stylist, was inspired to do hair when her big brother gave her a haircut with the kitchen scissors when she was three. She loves doing bold color, curly hair, men’s cuts, blondes, clip-in extensions, makeup, skin care and precision haircuts. Her favorite thing about working at Green Peridot is the interaction with clients. As for her favorite product, Katie never lets a client leave her chair without Aveda’s Damage Control Spray.
Senior stylist Rhonda Coop, a former salon owner, has been leading the hair industry for 25 years. She graduated from the National School of Cosmetology Arts in 1985 and has been rocking creative and experimental looks ever since. Her achievements are extensive, as she was named the Director of Education for a global professional hair color manufacturer. She’s also taught color techniques to stylists around the country and was awarded Best Educator by Midwest Beauty Show. Rhonda says Aveda’s Hair Potion is simply magic, since it increases volume and adds texture. In fact, she’s a master at making simple changes to create an overall transformation. That’s why both color and cuts are her favorite services to perform, because she brilliantly pulls together a cohesive look for any personality. This multi-faceted talent chose Green Peridot because she was drawn to the fun atmosphere and couldn’t wait to call our guys and dolls her co-stylists!
Rayna Bradley decided to embrace her inner creativity after helping out in the family salon for years. She spent her childhood years practicing hairstyles on dolls and, occasionally, her mother. Later, she trained at Vogue before graduating from Nuvani Institute in Austin, where she opened her own salon. Rayna is unparalleled when it comes to applying her acquired knowledge with her creative intuition to transform a dull hairstyle into picture perfection. Rayna is a paramount cosmetologist, so when it comes to keeping hair in place, Rayna is quick to utilize Aveda’s Control Force hairspray for the long lasting megahold; plus, the aerosol is environmentally friendly!
Lindsay George performed her debut haircut at the ripe age of 10 when she suckered her younger sister into letting her play “stylist.” Inspired by her need to help people feel their best, she later graduated from the Aveda Fredrics Institute in Cincinnati in 2006. In fact, her motto for making people feel beautiful inside and out fits right in with the standard at Green Peridot. Lindsay is a firm believer in the idea that even the smallest changes can immensely impact how a person feels. When it comes to keeping hair clean and shiny, she prefers Aveda’s Brilliant line, since it transforms hair from dull and flat to shiny and luminous. Lindsay knew she belonged with the Dream Team the moment she walked in the door; the energy at Green Peridot is addictive!
Tyler Taggart started in the industry in 2007 after training at Redken. He was inspired to do hair when he met his two best friends who attended Redken and also worked at Aveda Salons. He loves Green Peridot because of the great location, but it’s his outgoing personality and contagious laugh that keep his clients coming back for more.
StephanieStephanie L. Cruz started at Green Peridot in July of 2009. She graduated from Paul Mitchell Partner School in June 2009. While attending Paul Mitchell, she was Salon Manager of the school’s highly respected Honor’s Program. Stephanie has participated in many of Green Peridot’s fashion shows, photo shoots and charity events. She also styled Miss Texas for local fashion shows. Her favorite part of Green Peridot is the amount of talented stylists she’s surrounded by every day. Fashion, style and beauty are a way of life for Stephanie!
RachelleRachelle Morile began her career at Paul Mitchell in 2008 but has been doing hair for over four years. Her lifelong passion for self expression inspired her to channel her creativity through the hair industry. Rachelle says coloring and styling are her two favorite products of being a stylist because they both allow the client to transform before her eyes. For Rachelle, Green Peridot brings forth a wealth of knowledge and holds the ability for growth and personal development. Her favorite product? “Aveda Soy Candles,” she says, “because it doubles as a hand relief ointment with natural emollients. I also love our soothing/calming candles.”
Before Jennifer Nicoll graduated from Toni and Guy Academy in 2009, she had ten years experience as a cosmetic manager. Between her hair and makeup expertise, she is a force to be reckoned with in the hair industry. Her need to make people feel wonderful combined with the dominance of her creativity led her to become a stylist, so it’s no wonder why formal styles and makeup are her favorite aspects of cosmetology. With her fun personality and sassy blonde hair, Jennifer knows how to keep it professional and still have a blast at work. Why Green Peridot? “Our clients are amazing and the location is great! Who wouldn’t want to be a part of the Green Peridot Dream Team?” While she’s working her magic with clients, Jennifer always turns to Aveda’s Pure Abundance Hair Potion for texture and Air Control Hairspray for that flexible hold.

After two years in the hair industry, Tim says haircuts are still his favorite way to express his flair for creativity. What brings this eccentric stylist to work every day? “The atmosphere, the people…the entire look of the salon. Green Peridot is my passion.” As for Tim’s favorite Aveda product, he loves the entire Smooth Infusion line for his clients because it makes the hair silky smooth.

After that, Lauren found herself at Toni and Guy Academy where she was captain of the annual Arte De Vita Soiree, teaming up with other students for hair fashion shows, and leading hair and makeup teams for local photoshoots. Lauren says the journey from start to finish with her clients is a beautiful experience, and that her chair is “always a wonderful place to be!” She loves everything about Green Peridot, especially the clients; she says they know when they step foot in the door, they know she already has a vision for them and is ready to help them relax while she transforms their hair into celebrity-esque finishes. So, what does this premium stylist recommend to all of her clients? “I love our Smooth Infusion Style Prep Smoother! The twelve hour humidity defense keeps frizz away and hair locked in place! Plus, it smells amazing… what else could you want in a product?”
ChelseaChelsea Bradford was inspired to become a stylist at a young age. As a child, she loved watching her mother get ready for work as she styled her hair and did her makeup, and Chelsea instantly decided she wanted to help others feel as polished and perfected as her mother was. Chelsea followed her childhood dreams to the Toni and Guy Academy, where she graduated in September 2009. She loves doing hair because she truly enjoys watching her clients leave with a new sense of style, and she knows she’s an integral part of that happiness. Chelsea says it’s impossible to have just one favorite product; she loves the Acanthe line from Rene Furterer for days when she wants to play up her natural curl, but she can’t live without Aveda’s Smooth Infusion line for that silky smooth finish. Chelsea loves the challenge of haircuts because everyone’s hair is different, so she loves polishing each person with a flattering cut. She loves Green Peridot because she enjoys watching the Dream Team progress in different areas. Every day, Chelsea is reminded of how special it was for her as a child to “help” her mother get ready, and now she’s made a career of doing what she loves!
Ursula Lindsley is our personal Dream Team cheerleader, and whether she’s blow drying or giving hand massages, she can’t help letting that contagious smile take over. In fact, Ursula’s favorite aspect of styling is the confirmation she gets from the immediate esteem boost her clients feel. Ursula says she was inspired to seek cosmetology after realizing her childhood dreams never went away. Ursula has had ample practice time; she’s done her family’s hair for the last twelve years before seeking professional training at Paul Mitchell in Dallas. When she graduated in August of 2010, she immediately became an integral part of the Dream Team. Since she started, Ursula has recommended Aveda’s Brilliant line to all of her clients; she says the Brilliant aroma is what makes it her go-to product!
ShaneShane Smith knew from the moment he enrolled at the Aveda Institute that he belonged with Green Peridot, mainly because he knew our team was just as motivated and determined as he was. Shane, who just launched his own fashion magazine, proves to be an essential member of our team; his business brilliance combined with his fashion savvy edge makes him an integral stylist at Green Peridot. He says he loves seeing his clients in public, strutting their stuff and loving their hair. To keep his client sexy and sassy, Shane is a huge fan of Aveda’s Smooth Infusion line because they smell fantastic and work well with any type of hair. When it comes to hair care, he recommends Green Peridot’s damage treatments to help strengthen and revitalize hair, especially hair that’s been color-treated.
SamanthaSamantha Shepard is making a name for herself at Green Peridot, and it has nothing to do with being Daniel’s little sister. A high school student, Sam is headed to the Aveda Institute as soon as she can get her hands on that pesky diploma. Inspired by her big brother’s ambition and never-ending desire, Samantha plans to give Daniel a run for his money by joining the family business and bringing a fresh, unique perspective to our innovative way of life. As a junior assistant, Samantha soaks in as much knowledge as she can about hair, products and business; she loves studying her predecessors and can always be found practicing highlighting techniques on our mannequins. For now, she may be the Queen of Towel-Folding, but move over Daniel… your little sister is coming through.
SandraKnown as the client connoisseur, queen of scheduling and front desk liaison, a day at Green Peridot wouldn’t be complete without encountering Sandra. Her up-to-the-minute fashion expertise is solicited by most, partly due to her extensive collection of fashion magazines. As Daniel’s chic assistant and mom, she is always on target with what is needed in the salon. Her always cheerful persona cannot be mistaken, whether in the salon or on the phone with her welcoming southern accent. Her southern hospitality coupled with her flair for fashion always leaves each Green Peridot guest with a blissful smile in anticipation for their next visit.
KC Jansson began at Green Peridot in May 2009 and has changed the face of management with his business savvy intuition and his charismatic persona. He says the key to keeping a successful concierge team is finding the balance between work and play. KC’s favorite aspect of working at a high-end salon is the satisfaction he gets from seeing clients come in looking for a new persona and leaving with what he calls “the kiss of Green Peridot beauty.”
Jamaica Williams graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in both broadcast and journalism with a minor in public relations. Her love for big Texas hair brought her to Frisco in December 2009, and she has been representing big, blonde bombshell hair ever since. A true people person, her favorite aspect of Green Peridot is watching clients leave with a sense of fulfillment and hair that looks fresh, flirty and fabulous. Her deep southern accent and quick wit keep clients wondering what she’ll say next. Jamaica is a huge fan of Rene Furterer’s Naturia Dry Shampoo—how else is she supposed to maintain her high hair that keeps her closer to God? Speaking of big hair, Jamaica says, “There’s no wrath like the woman who ran out of hairspray.”
Cheri` Jenkins is the latest addition to the Concierge Team. A true southerner, Cheri` was born in Alabama before relocating to Colorado, but her southern roots pulled her back down to Texas; she’s glad to be among “good southern folks” again. Although Cheri` is a rookie at Green Peridot, she’s no stranger to Aveda salons and products; she is drawn to the overall environment and experience that comes with Aveda, and she knows how to use her southern charm to befriend all of our clientele. Cheri` doesn’t show up to work without Aveda’s Volumizing Tonic in her hair, because she’s obsessed with the voluminous look it gives without weighing her hair down. She’s also a huge fan of Aveda’s Shampure Candles—she says “anything that doubles as a scented candle AND a moisturizer is a win/win purchase!”

"I lived in McKinney for 7 years, and I had been with the same stylist for that period. It was a difficult decision changing salons when I moved to Frisco, but I am so thrilled I did! I've been going to Green Peridot for years now. Daniel Lewis does my hair, but everyone there is fantastic. The personal attention I receive is second to none. The salon is fabulous; I am never going anywhere else! If you want a great cut or color in an awesome salon, I recommend Green Peridot. Tell them Kathy sent you!"

"Green Peridot, you are winners! Thank you for taking time to listen!"
